Best Friend
I've never lost a best friend before. What do I say? What do I do? You see, she's always been the one to lead the way, to encourage me, to show me how, to stir my excitement over something new and tell me "You can do it. I'll wait for you to catch up."
She has told me she will be leaving soon. She does this with a brave voice. I'm alright she says to me, I'm just worried about you.
When it's my turn to leave, she will once again lead me, still encouraging me, telling of the next thing to be, and her voice quietly saying"You can do it. I'll wait for you to catch up."
